Firewalk Fundraiser for The Jane Moore Trust

We are excited to be hosting a unique and unforgettable fundraising experience – our Charity Fire Walk Event! This exciting challenge is not only a test of courage but also a powerful way to support a worthy cause.

  • Time: 17:30 with actual Fire Walk at 19:30
  • Location: Moore House Group Dunkeld Campus, Butterstone, Dunkeld PH8 0HJ

Why Participate?

Walking over hot embers is an ancient practice symbolising strength and determination. By joining our Fire Walk, you’ll not only conquer your fears but also contribute to The Jane Moore Trust, helping us continue to offer a range of responsive services such as education, employability, social enterprise, social housing, and access to psychological support for children and young people.

What to Expect:

  • Training Session: A professional firewalking instructor will guide you through a motivational training session to prepare you mentally and physically.
  • The Walk: Experience the thrill of walking over embers burning at 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit!
  • Celebration: Pre and Post-walk celebration with refreshments, music, and sharing your experiences with fellow participants.

How to Participate:

Register: Sign up using our Google Doc by 12:00 Thursday 1st August 2024.


Pay the registration fee: There will be a non-refundable registration fee of £25. To pay this follow the link to our JustGiving page.


Fundraise: Each participant is encouraged to raise a minimum of £100. All proceeds will directly support The Jane Moore Trust.

We are delighted to be registered as a charity with Kiltwalks in Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Edinburgh.

Whether you are taking part on your own or as part of a team in the wee wander, big stroll or mighty stride, 125% of the funds you raise go directly to the charity.

When you donate on Facebook, 100% of your donation goes directly to the Charity.

To donate log on to Facebook and visit our page @JaneMooreTrust. Select the donate button and you will be given the option to make a one-time donation or a monthly recurring gift.

You can also create a charity fundraiser to celebrate those special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and weddings.

To create a charity fundraiser

  • On your computer log in to Facebook and on the left, click Fundraisers. If you can’t see Fundraisers on the left-hand side, then click see more
  • On the left-hand side, click Raise money, click Charity. You can either: scroll to find the charity you want to raise money for or type into the search bar to find the charity you want to raise money for. We are listed as The Jane Moore Trust
  • On the left, enter the goal amount of money that you want to raise and the currency you want the funds to be in. Click Create

You’ll see a screen pop up where you can invite your friends to donate to your fundraiser, share your fundraiser in your feed or donate to the fundraiser yourself.

Support us with Recycle for Good Causes

Recycling for Good Causes helps us raise funds through donations of unwanted jewellery, currency, coins, stamps, mobile phones, cameras, and electronic gadgets. It’s a great way to raise funds and help the environment too.

If you would like to send your jewellery and banknote recycling to Recycle for Good Causes, simply use your own envelope or jiffy bag (No bigger than A5 in size) and post free of charge by printing out the freepost label below and attaching to your envelope.

*Please do not send coins or stamps to the freepost address as the postage costs will far outweigh your donation.
