Who we are

The Jane Moore Trust is a charitable organisation offering a range of responsive services that include education, employability, social enterprise, social housing, and access to psychological support for children and young people in Scotland.

How we began

Patricia Sheridan, the founder of Moore House Group, was brought up in a working class family in Leith. From an early age, she believed that people who faced hardship and disadvantage could cope better and flourish if they were surrounded by caring, loving people. She established Moore House School in 1988 and The Jane Moore Trust in 1991 and named the organisation after her mum, Jane Moore.

Who we help

We support children and young people leaving care aged 15 to 26 and provide sector-leading residential and education provision for neurodiverse children and young people aged 5 to 18.
