The Jane Moore Trust is a charitable organisation established in 1991 offering a range of responsive services that include education, employability, social enterprise, social housing, and access to psychological support for children and young people.
Education
At Moore House Group Dunkeld Campus we aim to provide sector-leading residential and education provision for neurodiverse children and young people aged 5 to 18, who require highly specialised teaching, bespoke pastoral care and a range of dedicated services, including Speech & Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Psychological Interventions.
Our children and young people may not have been able to sustain mainstream school placements, but our small class sizes, combined with individualised and bespoke curriculum pathways ensures that they maximise their potential and fulfil their aspirations at Moore House Group Dunkeld Campus.

Our campus is located in a calm, rural environment near Dunkeld, where we provide specialist:
- Day education
- Residential care and education
- Virtual learning through our Virtual Academy
- Outreach education
- Therapeutic support
We are delighted that our new Primary School is now open which allows us to admit pupils aged 5 to 18.
In-Touch
Our In-Touch service support young adults who have previously attended Moore House Group education provisions, resided within one of their residential services or fostering families.
Our specialised team aims to provide the correct advice and support, at the right time, for any young adult who has moved on from Moore House Group.
During the transition into independent living, we will be there every step of the way. We believe that building trusting loving relationships constructs a platform to enable us to provide a tailored personalised service up to the age of 26.
We aim to develop our young people’s personal skills and resilience to make a positive, healthy and successful transition into adulthood.

Our team is based in West Lothian providing services across Scotland.
- Navigate through life transitions
- Promote sustainable Employment & Education outcomes
- Provide all aspects of housing support
- Advocate on behalf of service users
- Offer and provide practical, personal, emotional and social support

Through their efforts, volunteers offer individualised attention, tailored support, and mentorship, addressing the unique needs of our children & young people. In our schools, volunteers are not just helpers; they are champions of diversity, advocates for inclusion, and catalysts for positive change. If this is you, then look no further! The Moore House Group – Dunkeld Campus is thrilled to invite passionate individuals like you to join our vibrant team of volunteers.

Moore House Group Dunkeld Campus are proud to be working in partnership with #FordieEstate, providing meaningful outdoor learning opportunities that support our children and young people. 🌲
This partnership is now well underway, with groups of our young people already taking part in a ...structured programme at Fordie Estate. Each week, learners spend a full day immersed in the natural environment; an approach that reflects our commitment to outdoor learning as a powerful tool for supporting regulation, wellbeing and engagement.
The programme offers a blend of vocational learning and personal development. Young people are actively involved in woodland management, identifying species and exploring the importance of biodiversity, as well as green woodworking, where they use traditional tools to create practical items.
Our young people are also contributing to infrastructure projects such as building boardwalks and outdoor learning spaces, giving them a strong sense of ownership and achievement as they see the direct impact of their work.
Importantly, this work is about much more than developing practical skills. It is about creating opportunities for success in different forms; building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and allowing young people to achieve in ways that are meaningful to our young people.
This ongoing partnership reflects our commitment to delivering inclusive, responsive education. By embracing opportunities like this, we continue to create an environment where every young person feels accepted, supported to aspire, and empowered to achieve.

💙 Today is #WorldAutismAwarenessDay 💙
This year’s theme, “Autism and Humanity: Every Life Has Value,” is a powerful reminder that inclusion goes beyond words; it's about creating environments in education, care and communities where autistic individuals feel safe, ...respected and able to thrive.
Today, and every day, we remain committed to supporting ourneurodiverse young people and their families through compassionate, relationship-based care.
Our young people had a fantastic trip to the beautiful Loch of the Lowes this afternoon, and it was the perfect sunny day to get out of the classroom! ☀️
The group enjoyed a guided tour and talk from the staff, learning all about the local wildlife and the incredible conservation work ...happening right on our doorstep.
A huge thank you to the team at The Scottish Wildlife Trust for sharing their knowledge and making us feel so welcome! 🌿
🌻 It’s been all hands on deck this week for our BGE Students who have been sowing sunflowers and plenty of veg to get our garden started. 🌱
That wasn't all though! They have also been outdoors measuring up an area for a brand new garden and fence. With some help, the next job ...is for the students to sit down and calculate exactly how much timber we need to order to get the build moving. 📏🪵
It’s always great to see our students taking the lead on improving the campus! 💪
It might be Monday but we are still reminiscing about how much fun we had last week when the mobile gaming van came to visit our campus! 🎮
Our young people had a huge variety of multiplayer games to choose from, that even the teachers couldn’t help getting involved.
Thank ...you to Gaming Van UK Ltd- Mobile Gaming events for providing such a fantastic setup! 👾
📚 Happy #WorldBookDay! Today, our children and young people celebrated by designing their own custom bookmarks, munching on book-themed snacks and discussing their favourite fictional characters. 📖
How did you celebrate? Let us know in the comments! 💬
With the weather finally warming up, we took our latest student council meeting outdoors! We’re looking forward to seeing the campus garden start blooming in the coming weeks. 🌱
Our young people are already making great use of the new outdoor chess set, kindly funded by a grant from #TheWakehamTrust. ♟️
We love seeing our outdoor space become a hub for connection and play. A massive thank you to the Trust for supporting grassroots initiatives like ours. 💫
