Do you want to be part of our young people’s lives?

We are looking for Practitioners to support our young people at weekends, which could include engaging in fun activities or organising and participating in exciting days out. We want people with drive and determination, with a range of skills and experience who can support our young people emotionally and practically.

Applicants from a variety of different backgrounds are welcomed: residential care; early years; education; health care staff all make excellent practitioners. Equally those looking to change careers will be considered.

Residential childcare can be physically and often emotionally challenging at times, so we believe it is important that all staff are fully supported and we offer comprehensive induction and ongoing training supported by the Moore House Training Academy. Our excellent Training Academy offers support for staff to obtain professional qualifications.

Our approach is firmly based on building positive, nurturing relationships using the principles of Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy (PACE) and Dyadic Developmental Practice (DDP).
