Do you want to be part of something special?
Do you want to help shape a brand new service?
Join us as we open our new Kettle Mill service, a beautiful 4 bedded farmhouse which boasts impressive grounds and surroundings, situated on the outskirts of Kingskettle in Fife, with close links to surrounding towns of Glenrothes and Cupar.
As a Practitioner, your days will be a mix of shared experiences, outdoor escapades, cake baking extravaganzas, and cosy coffee outings, your days limited only by our young people’s imagination.
Moore House Group offers residential support to young people from all over the UK. The postholder will work closely with Moore House Academies in Bathgate or Dunkeld, and the wider organisation, to provide consistent and positive opportunities for all our children and young people.
While experience of working with children and young people with autism or complex learning needs would be desirable, it is not essential. We want good people, with drive and passion to spend time with our young people and share in their experiences.
The experience of building a new service and the introduction of children and young people requires empathy and enthusiasm to allow them to feel safe and supported in their new home.
The Practitioner post includes sleepovers and variable working patterns that can fit with all walks of life. We believe in a fair work / life balance and feel this helps our team members thrive. Sleepovers and longer days can help reduce any commute and support that work / life balance. Our Practitioners work a variety of shifts that includes days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers. Full-time, Part-time and Sessional working hours will be considered.
We prioritise the wellbeing of our staff by offering a comprehensive employment package which includes:
