Property Maintenance Assistant P/T (West Lothian)

Overview

Moore House Group provides residential care and education services to vulnerable children and young people.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated Property Maintenance Assistant to take ownership and responsibility for the upkeep, maintenance and caretaking of our West Lothian and Fife services.

The role requires a broad knowledge and skills of general maintenance and grounds maintenance.

The successful candidate should have a high degree of integrity, coupled with a flexible, strong work ethic, and be prepared to work outside of routine working hours in the case of emergencies.

This is an interesting and varied role with a high degree of satisfaction.

Having previous caretaking / maintenance / handyperson experience, and the ability to work alone using their own initiative, the postholder must be physically fit and able to carry out the requirements of the role.

The postholder will enjoy working 24 hours per week, as well as having access to a well-developed comprehensive training programme, a free confidential employee assistance programme and the Group pension scheme.

A full, clean UK driving licence is required.
