Property Maintenance Assistant F/T (West Lothian)

Overview

Moore House Group provides residential care and education services to vulnerable children and young people.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated Property Maintenance Assistant to take ownership and responsibility for the upkeep, maintenance and caretaking of our West Lothian services.

The role requires a broad knowledge and skills of general maintenance and grounds maintenance. These include basic joinery; plumbing; large amounts of painting; flooring; outdoor landscaping and general repair works to our residential services.

You must have previous caretaking / maintenance / handyperson experience, and have the ability to work alone using your own initiative when necessary. You must be physically fit and able to carry out the requirements of the role.

Qualifications and Experience

● Previous property maintenance or related experience

● Full, clean driving licence is essential

● Clearance of relevant police and criminal record check (PVG)

● Satisfactory pre employment checks including references.
