Are you passionate about working with children and young people?

Do you want a job where you can really make a difference? Do you want to work for a company that
truly cares about our children? Are you looking to work for a company that cares about upskilling and developing our staff to better support our young people?
If this sounds great to you, we have fantastic permanent, full-time opportunities available in 2 of our services in Fife:

● Buchanan is a lovely 4 bedroom bungalow situated in the Fife countryside,
just out of Dunfermline.
● Kettle Mill is our newly opened service, a 3 bedded farmhouse which boasts
impressive grounds and surroundings, situated on the outskirts of Kingskettle
in Fife, with close links to the surrounding towns of Glenrothes and Cupar.

As a Practitioner, your days will be a mix of shared experiences, outdoor escapades, cake baking extravaganzas, and cosy coffee outings, your days limited only by our young people’s imagination.

Moore House Group offers residential support to young people from all over the UK.  The postholder will work closely with Moore House Academies in Bathgate or Dunkeld, and the wider organisation, to provide consistent and positive opportunities for all our children and young people.

While experience of working with children and young people with autism or complex learning needs would be desirable, it is not essential. We want good people, with drive and passion to spend time with our young people and share in their experiences.

The experience of building a new service and the introduction of children and young people requires empathy and enthusiasm to allow them to feel safe and supported in their new home.

Shift Pattern and Job Type:
This Practitioner post is permanent, full-time and includes sleepovers and variable working
patterns. We believe in a fair work / life balance and feel this helps our team members thrive. Sleepovers and longer days can help reduce any commute and support that work / life balance. Our Practitioners work a variety of shifts that includes days, evenings, weekends and sleepovers.

An example, of what your shift pattern could look like:

● Week 1 – Tuesday, Friday, Sunday
● Week 2 – Tuesday, Thursday

● Week 4 – Monday, Sunday

You will need to be someone who is happy working variable shifts including
