Overview

My name is Lesley Simpson, and I am the HR & Recruitment Supervisor within Moore House Group.  Here at Moore House, every day is different.  In the last couple of weeks, I have watched our annual Total Wipeout challenge, where staff and young people compete in teams to become this year’s champions!  I have visited our campuses in Dunkeld and Bathgate to celebrate the achievements of our children and young people at Prize Giving ceremonies and we have held a Birthday Party to celebrate 35 years of the Moore House Group!

Moore House truly is a unique and rewarding place to work.  Although not working with our children and young people directly, we are able to engage and form friendships through our many events, their involvement in our recruitment processes, not to mention our coffee mornings and Christmas Fayre’s!   At Moore House Group the focus really is on our children and young people, seeing them thrive and grow in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Would you like to join me in ensuring that we recruit the best people possible to care and nurture our children and young people?  And, of course, be at the forefront to ensure our staff have access to comprehensive advice and support when required?

I am looking for an HR Officer to join our expanding team.  The post will be based in Livingston, however travel to other services will be required, making a driving licence essential.

Are you an HR professional looking to take the next step in your career?  Do you have experience of recruitment and onboarding processes? Are you confident in providing advice and support to employees or providing Managers with guidance and best practice solutions to daily issues?  If you feel this could be the job for you and would like to discuss the role in more detail, please contact me directly on 01506 401700 for a chat.  I look forward to hearing from you!

As well as a competitive salary, the postholder will enjoy:

  • Access to a well-developed comprehensive training programme.
  • Generous annual leave entitlement.
  • Free confidential employee assistance programme.
  • Refer a Friend Bonus Scheme.
  • Annual benchmarking of salary.
  • Access to our group pension scheme.
