About Us
Moore House Group is a forward-thinking organisation which provides a range of services including residential care, education and foster carers to meet the changing needs of children and young people who are looked after in Scotland.
We are looking for an experienced Cook / Housekeeper to work with our team supporting young people and helping them to feel safe and cared for. You will be based in our Day Service, which supports the young people who attend our Academy at breakfast and lunchtime.
About You
You will ideally have good experience of cooking and preparing meals and keeping a workplace clean. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring there is sufficient stock in the kitchen area and creating menus.
You will contribute positively to an organisational culture which values the best in individual care and education through commitment to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Experience of interacting with and relating to children and young people, and a sound working knowledge and experience in domestic and / or industrial cleaning, would be advantageous.
