Overview

Moore House Group is a forward-thinking organisation which provides a range of services to meet the changing needs of young people who are looked after and accommodated in Scotland. Based in our service in Dunkeld, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Cook / Housekeeper to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced Cook / Housekeeper to work with our team supporting young people and helping them to feel safe and cared for. You will be based over 3 services; 2 of which are on our Campus in Dunkeld, the other being based in Stanley. You will ideally spend 10 hours per week in each of the 3 services.

You will ideally have good experience of cooking and preparing meals and keeping a house or workplace clean. The successful applicant will help young people learn valuable life skills such as meal preparation, cooking and baking when they are not at school.

You will contribute positively to an organisational culture which values the best in individual care and education through commitment to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.


Experience of interacting with and relating to young people, and a sound working knowledge and experience in domestic and / or industrial cleaning, would be advantageous.
