Job Description:
Cook / Housekeeper
Part Time – 30 Hours per week – Term Time
We are looking for an experienced Cook / Housekeeper to work with our team supporting young people and helping them to feel safe and cared for. You will be based in our Academy in Bathgate.
You will ideally have good experience of cooking and preparing meals and keeping a house or workplace clean. The successful applicant will help young people learn valuable life skills such as meal preparation, cooking and baking when they are not at school. Currently, Gate House is home to four young people aged between 10 and 16.
You will contribute positively to an organisational culture which values the best in individual care and education through commitment to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Experience of interacting with and relating to children and young people, and a sound working knowledge and experience in domestic and / or industrial cleaning, would be advantageous.
