Donna Paton

Registered Service Manager

Before coming to Moore House in 2013, Donna worked with young people in a range of sectors including youth work, homelessness and The Prince’s Trust. She provided practical support and guidance whilst watching them grow and develop into confident young adults. 

Donna’s Moore House journey began when she became a relief practitioner with the organisation. Shortly after, she became a practitioner and had the opportunity to work as part of a team to open a new service. This is where Donna developed her knowledge and skills, particularly her leadership skills. 

Following her grounding as a practitioner, Donna was promoted to assistant service manager then service manager. The role allowed her to support and guide her teams to create safe, nurturing and loving care, achieving the best outcomes for our young people. Donna has always had a passion for working with children in care, supporting them to learn and grow, creating memories and experiences with them. She believes that providing our young people with the same opportunities as their peers means they can move successfully into adulthood. As carers we have the power to change a young person’s life for the better, which is something Donna will always thrive to do.
