Prior to his successful appointment with Moore House in May 2024, Bruce has worked in Residential Child Care where he started as a sessional worker in 1998.

This developed his passion and commitment in making a difference to young people’s lives.  Bruce embraced every opportunity and enhanced his skill set both professionally and personally, expanding his knowledge base and gaining valuable experience.

Bruce transitioned to a management role in 2005 and has since continued to create and manage safe, nurturing, friendly and professional living and working environments.  

Bruce has always been focused and passionate to ensure staff are given the best opportunities to develop, learn, share knowledge and best practice, this ensures staff are skilled and are attentive to young people’s needs allowing space to thrive, feel safe, make mistakes and achieve their best outcomes while being part of a loving family environment.

Bruce’s career path brought him to Child Care by circumstances and a chance meeting, but as a driver passionate advocate and guardian for young people Bruce has always tried to make a positive impact on the lives he has been privileged to be part of over the years and will continue to strive to allow everyone to be their best.
