Depute Head of Care (North)
Adam joined Moore House in January 2023 as Campus Manager at out Dunkeld Campus, after being blown away by the scenery and vision for the service during the recruitment process. Adam’s background in supporting Neurodiverse young people in a variety of settings including Resitional, Community and Family Homes.
With a degree in Psychology and Sociology Adams interest in the way young people use behaviour to communicate has driven much of his journey over the last 18 years.After University Adam spent a year working in a Residential Service in Canada as a Behavioural therapist for young people with Autism, while hiking in the Rocky Mountains during his time off.
After returning to Scotland working as a practitioner in Residential Childcare supporting Neurodiverse young people progressing through to leadership roles for the last 10 years. Adam has a clear focus on staff development, positive behaviour support and supporting young people to have positive experiences.
Outside of work Adam is a big rugby fan where he still participates in mixed ability rugby supporting Adults with all ranges of disabilities experience both the physical and social sides of rugby.
